Out & Back trail run, Virginia Meissner Snow Park, Bend, OR
The Cascade Lakes Highway west of Bend, OR offers all sort of outdoor activities, either on the main road, or on various dirt roads and trails that branch off the road. Today I went for a trail run at the Virginia Meissner Sno Park, near the
14 mile marker on the Cascade Lakes Highway. I only had time for a 50 minute run, but the network of dirt roads and trails offers potential for much more. Best done between May and October, as after that the roads will have some snow in most years.
