Start at Diamond Peak parking lot across from Bigwater Grill. Run up to Upper Tyrolia, take trail up to 8700' where it meets the rim trail. Come down either on trails with some steep stretches, or more gradually on old and new Mt. Rose Highway, Fairview street.
