ran out and back from gold river on the bike path towards lake natoma. turned around at 1.5 to loop back to see if anyone was coming out today (a group will occasionally meet here sunday morning) and the only people there were running shorter and slower so headed back out on my own. tried to focus on just staying relaxed and easy breathing especially since i raced yesterday and haven't done a long run in a few weeks. stopped for water at 6 and 15 miles (only times that i stopped) and legs didn't want to get going again after the 15 mile break. overall felt good, relaxed, and comfortable. had some leg soreness, and tiredness especially in the later portions of the run. was drizzly with slight breeze for the first half then the rain and wind picked up the second half (so ended up with a blister on my foot since shoes and socks were soaked). had 2 blocks at the start, 6 miles and 12.5 miles with a temp basal of 80% ended up with a BG reading of 56 at the end (ideally would have liked 2 more blocks during the run but didn't bring enough. Solid run.
