lake natoma
attempted 2 loops around Lake Natoma (goal on the day was 20-24) and ended up running 22 miles, walking in the last mile. overall i felt relaxed and comfortable the whole time, right quad was sore/hurting off and on (more on than off towards the end). As the second loop went on i started feeling progressively worse, just tired and legs dead after 20 miles i started struggling a bit and by the time i hit 22 was pretty much done, my legs just had nothing left. breathing was good throughout the run and never felt like i was pushing it or struggling. Longest run ever so i think my legs just didn't know how to respond (4 miles longer than last week). BG was 66 at the end which may have contributed to how i was feeling. Had 2 gu chomps before the run, at 5 miles, 10 miles, 15 miles, and 20 miles.
