OLH - Skyline - Kings Mtn
After 2 weeks of bad weather and illness great to finally be back on the bike. I probably should have taken it easier for my first ride back!
OLH shows that I've lost some fitness the past 2 weeks - even though I've lost weight, still almost a minute slower than my PB.
After watching the video of me descending Kings Mtn Rd way too many times, I've been longing to do it again, in anger. So I did. I dropped a minute off my best descent time but both thighs were cramping by the end so I had to limp home. Kept my HR near max for most of the descent - until it straightens up and I spin out! Got up to 46 mph - I'm not sure I've broken 41 mph on Kings Mtn before. Only overtook one car :)
