WE DID IT!!

The Campaign started in October 2009 the challenge was to raise $4,999 by the end of March 2010.

Well thanks to all you members out there who logged all sorts of stuff, we did it in only five months and the RW rounded up to make sure we hit the mark.

Here is a message from Betsy Kiser of SLO and Joe Rubio of Running Warehouse and some of the stats and the dollars that all ya’ll raised.

Whether it’s moms or dads seeking enriching childcare programs, citizens lunching in a local park, teens connecting positively with each other in a team building program , youth learning new sports, tourists admiring our public art collection, SLO triathletes exercising bragging rights, avid hikers hitting their favorite trail, people with limited mobility enjoying warm water exercise, or friends enjoying a twilight game of golf, The San Luis Parks and Recreation Department takes great pride in providing something of value for everyone.
