  • Your max heart rate was probably when you got your 2nd flat. As for calling in the SAG, don’t you carry 2 spare tubes? (BTW, is the first time you’ve gone over 50 miles since your accident?)

  • Paul, yes I had another tube and air, but I was exhausted….and yes, that’s the farthest I’ve cycled and with the most elevation gain since last May….which explains the exhaustion. 🙂
